Carrie is a skilled and gifted therapist. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in New Mexico, a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, an Advanced Imago Clinician and a Certified Imago Workshop Presenter.

She holds a B.A. from Purdue University, an M.A. and Ed.S. from Eastern Kentucky University and an M.S.W. from Smith College School for Social Work.

Carrie was born and raised in the Mid-West and has been a teacher and administrator. She was Executive Director of an Olympic sport governing body (U.S. Field Hockey) before becoming a psychotherapist.

She maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Santa Fe, focused on relationship issues. For couples from out-of-town, or those desiring more concentrated work, she offers Intensives which consist of multiple hours over the period of a day or two.

Carrie is intelligent, authentic, empathic and respectful. She is committed to helping couples and individuals achieve healthier, more satisfying relationships. She has been described by her clients and colleagues as genuine, creative, passionate, and gifted in creating a safe space in which clients can do their work.

Cat is an experienced educator and workshop presenter. She holds a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, an M.S. from Smith College and a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. Born and raised in New England, Cat has been a teacher, lawyer, fundraiser and foundation program officer.

Cat is articulate, analytical, and very high-energy. She has a great presentational style and loves making Imago theory easy to understand. She is also a great role model for those people who have grown up in more-thinking, less-feeling environments. As one workshop participant wrote: “Cat really helps the less feeling among us feel accepted and safe.” Other workshop participants have described her as engaging, entertaining, energized and connected.
